Come make
magic
with us.

Where little explorers come to play and create.

The Nest Studio is about making space for creativity and wonder through child-led sensory play and process art.

Fun, engaging,
child-led.

Every class is a mix of sensory play and open-ended art, set out for children to explore however they like.

Each session is designed to encourage imagination, self-expression, and confidence. There is no example to copy, and no “right way” to create, just plenty of opportunities to squish, scoop, mix, paint, experiment, and make messy magic!

Sensory play

Squishing, scooping, pouring, mixing. Getting to know a material by getting it all over yourself.

Autumn leaves pressed into pink, purple and green paint on paper, with a brush and a cup.

Open-ended art

A variety of materials and the freedom to create.

A pipette dripping color into fizzing baking soda in a glass bowl, in blue, orange and green.

A little bit of mess

Because that’s what childhood’s about.

Play is
the work of
childhood.

Hi, I’m Elle.

I’m an early childhood educator and the founder of The Nest Studio.

I have a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and more than ten years of teaching young children.

I started The Nest Studio on one belief: young children learn best through play, connection, movement, and exploration. So that’s what our classes are made of, and not much else.
